Please Note: Though the standard specification is the base option, the furniture made at Parker Thomas Design is still made to a much higher specification than most woodworker’s best quality work.

Mass produced furniture will be of a much, much lower standard with composite wood rather than hardwoods, many mechanical fasteners rather than wood joinery, and mono-coat finishes. All of this leads to a shorter life span, less durability, and a lower resale value for the furniture.
